JAMMU: Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Rohit Kansal today took a first-hand appraisal of the arrangements for the annual darbar move during his visit to the Civil Secretariat and various residential colonies for employees.
Principal Secretary inspected various offices and halls and got on the spot feedback about the arrangements. He took keen interest in the repair, renovation and modernization works. The Director Estates briefed about the upkeep works in and around the complex.
Later, Mr Kansal also visited the residential colonies for employees including Poonch House, Amar Singh Ahata, Janipur and reviewed the arrangements made for Darbar move employees. He directed the Estates Department to ensure sanitation, proper water supply, electricity and other basic required things, so that the employees may not face any problem.
Commissioner JMC, Ramesh Kumar, Director Estates, Tasaduq Jeelani, Chief Engineer PHE, Ashok Gandotra, Chief Engineer PWD, Sudhir Shah, SE PDD, Deputy Director Estates, Satish Sharma, Xen Estates besides other officers were also present on the occasion.
