Prices remain steady in tight movements

NEW DELHI, May 14:  The wholesale pulses market ended on a steady note today as most pulses, after hovering in limited range on some buying support, settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said adequate stocks position against restricted buying activity mainly kept pulses prices unchanged.
Following are today’s pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 5,100-5,600, Urad Chilka (local) 6,300-6,500, best 6,550-7,150, Dhoya 6,800-7,200, Moong 6,300-7,600, Dal Moong Chilka local 7,400-7,900, Moong Dhoya local 7,300-7,600 and best quality 8,100-8,200.
Masoor small 5,200-5,400, bold 5,200-5,500, Dal Masoor local 6,000-6,100, best quality 6,100-6,200, Malka local 5,600-5,900, best 5,800-5,900, Moth 4,700-5,100, Arhar 4,700-4,800, Dal Arhar Dara 6,250-6,450.
Gram 2,900-3,650, Gram Dal (local) 3,800-4,000, best quality 3,900-4,000, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,500, Rajdhani 1,500, Rajmah Chitra 6,800-9,800, Kabli Gram small 4,000-6,600, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,200-5,800, Peas white 2,950-3,000 and green 3,000-3,100. (PTI)
