JAMMU, Oct 15: The President of India has empowered Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Radha Krishna Mathur to exercise powers and discharge functions of the State Government under the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006 within the Union Territory.
A notification to this effect has been issued by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
