KARGIL, Nov 18: The general election of Press Club of Ladakh Kargil was held at Press Club of Ladakh office here today.
The Correspondent of Gulistan News Kargil Hosain Ibn Khalo was elected as president while Editor of Greater Ladakh Mohammad Ali Waziri was elected as vice president. The Reporter of Gulistan News Mudasir Ahmad was elected uncontested as general secretary while Correspondent of Rangyul Kargil Number was elected as cashier.
The Correspondent of Kashmir Tribune Mohammad Hussain was elected as joint secretary and Freelance Photojournalist Karamjeet Singh elected as organizer of the club. Besides, Correspondent of Daily Excelsior Basharat Ladakhi was elected as publicity officer and freelance journalist Muzammil Mustafa as social media incharge.
The election was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Director Information Kargil Mohammad Ali Tak and advisor of the club Ghulam Nabi Zia.
