JAMMU, Oct 17: Ancient Temple of Bhagwan Kaal Bhairav Ji located in the heart of Jammu city near Chowk Chabutra area has started preparations for annual Bhairav Ashtami which is scheduled to be celebrated on November 16, 2022.
In a press conference here today Mahant of the temple, Pandit Rumil Sharma said that volunteers have been called and the temple management has pulled up sleeves for the activities associated with the celebrations of annual Bhairav Ashtami.
“Today there was a monthly Bhandara and special rituals were performed for the welfare of mankind,” Pandit Rumil Sharma informed adding that the activities for the five day long annual Kaal Bhairav Ashtami were discussed of which bike rally, special rituals etc will be prominent.
“The temple and entire the Chowk Chabutra market will be decorated beautifully on this festival for which preparations will start within days,” Sharma maintained.
He invited people from all the sections of the society to join the celebrations and get blessings of the deity.
