Pre-arrest bail denied in attempt to murder case

JAMMU, Nov 12: Principal Sessions Judge Samba today rejected the pre-arrest bail application of Yogeshwar Singh, who was allegedly involved in attempt to murder case.
According to police case, on July 26, 2015 when the complainant namely Narinder Singh was coming out of the Sitla Devi temple some persons attacked him. In the attack, the complainant received severe injuries.
Accordingly, a case was registered and police started investigation. In the meanwhile, the main accused filed pre-arrest bail.
After hearing Advocate Rajeev Gupta for the accused person whereas Public Prosecutor Bhupinder Singh Charak for the State, Principal Sessions Judge observed, “custodial of interrogation is required to ensure recovery of weapon and to ascertain his involvement in the criminal conspiracy in attempt to murder of the complainant”.
“Allegations are of serious nature and by no stretch of imagination, it can be said that the grounds reflected in the objections oppose grant of pre-arrest bail”, the court further said. With these observations, court rejected the bail application.
