NEW DELHI, June 19: Urban infrastructure developer Pratibha Industries today said it has won contracts worth Rs 526 crore, including order for construction of a water treatment plant in Nepal.
“Our company in a joint venture with VA TECH WABAG has bagged a contract worth Rs 262 crore from Melamchi Water Supply Development Board, Nepal.
“The scope of work comprises construction of water treatment plant at Sundarijal, Nepal, which will have an initial capacity of 85 MLD (million litres per day) and will be expanded to…510 MLD,” the company said.
The plant is part of the Melamchi Water Supply Project, funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Besides, the building division of the company bagged a contract worth Rs 264 crore from Bharitya City Developers Pvt Ltd for construction of a housing project ‘Nikoo Homes’ at Tannisandra outer ring road, Bengaluru.
The project, which is to be completed within 34 months, envisages a total built up area of about 32 lakh square feet.
“As Pratibha moves ahead, we have laid increased emphasis on devising our business strategy on aggressive top line growth, a de-risked business model and increased operational efficiencies,” the company said.
