JAMMU, June 14: The 624th Prakash Utsav of Saint Kabir Ji Maharaj was today celebrated here at Kabir Sabha Janipur.

On this occasion a Prabhat Pheri was taken out in the morning where the devotees moved in the area reciting devotional songs of Kabir Ji.
Thereafter in the day, a Shabeel was organised where sweetened cold water and other eatables were served to the passersby on Janipur High Court road by the followers of Kabir Ji.
At Sant Kabir Temple in Old Janipur a programme was organised where different speakers talked on the life of the Saint.
They said that Kabir gave the message of brotherhood and love and worked for equality in the society.
The speakers also said that Kabir worked to eradicate wrong customs and social evils from the society and his teachings are also contained in the Holy Guru Granth Sahib.
Janipur Kabir Sabha has stated that on June 19, 2022 another programme to commemorate Prakash Utsav of Saint Kabir Ji Maharaj will be held and have invited all to participate.
