BISHNAH, Feb 8: Shri Guru Ravi Dass S S Trust and Shri GD SS Society celebrated Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj at Sikanderpur Kothey village in Bishnah today.
The devotees also celebrated birthday of Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdip Giri Ji Maharaj on the occasion by performing cake cutting ceremony.
Renowned singer Kainth Kaler presented Krantikari Bhajans on this occasion. Gold medal was presented to Dr D D Shivgotra general secretary of the Trust by Swami Gurdip Giri Ji. A large number of devotees participated and took blessings from Swami Ji.
The function was organised by CL Banal, chairman, Kesar Singh convenor Satsang Society, Natha Ram vice chairman, Dr D D Shivgotra, ML Banalia, trustees Parshotam Thapa, BR Chadgal, Mulkh Raj, Capt Manohar Lal and others.
Those candidates who had qualified JKAS from the community were honoured on this occasion. All president’s of different branch Sabhas were honoured on this occasion.
Swami Gurdip Giri Ji delivered spiritual sermons on this occasion and gave importance to education. Education is most powerful weapon in this world. He appealed to the people to remain away from drugs. Now drug menace is global problem. He also referred to the consequences of drug menace. He said that more and more people should know about the ill effects of drugs. It has destroyed the future of coming generations.
Madam Soma Atri , Vijay Kundal and hundreds of prominent persons and devotees from Dera Swami Jagat Giri participated and took blessings from Swami Ji.
