JAMMU, Apr 23: A general body meeting of Prabandhak Committee Kheer Bhawani Asthapan Manzgam Kulgam was held at Geeta Bhawan Muthi today in which various decisions were taken.
The meeting regarding the forthcoming holy festival of Mata Kheer Bhawani was chaired by president of the Committee Kuldeep Raina. He said sheds and kitchen for security personnel will be constructed in the Ashram. The meeting was informed that the land of shrine which was encroached has been restored and demarcated.
Besides, the old temple of Goddess which was damaged during turmoil has also been renovated while a new Shiv Temple was constructed in the shrine. It said by the Zesht Ashtami falling on June 2 the shed and kitchen for CRPF personnel will be constructed.
The meeting which chalked out the programme for forthcoming elections was chaired by S N Saraf. It said the elections to the Committee will be held after Kheer Bhawani annual mela. The other members who participated in the meeting included V S Lahori, A K Raina, K L Raina, Ashok Raina, Dr R L Lahori, Dr Ramesh Bhat, A K Kaw, Vinay Koul, Nana Ji Dhar, Dileep Raina, Ajay Raina and Rohit Raina.
