JAMMU, Oct 9: Provincial Power Employees Union (PPEU) held a protest demonstration at EM&RE Division Number I, Parade, against engagement of the retired employee, who attained superannuation.
Led by Shakti Gupta, the members of the union raised slogans against the officers of this division for their wrong policy of re-engagement of the retired employee namely Ghulam Nabi Bhat, president Lineman Union, who recently attained superannuation.
While speaking, Shakti Gupta strongly condemned the working policies of the present XEn of the said division, who is always trying to mislead the other staff by adopting wrong policies towards transferred incumbents/ retired employees.
Union warned the officers of the said division that if any matter pertaining to the recommendation of re-engagement of the retired employee was noticed, then the union will adopt agitational path.
Union further appealed to the authorities for release of two and half day salary in favour of the executive cadre of PDD upto the rank of AEE.
Among others present were Sanjeev Bali, Ajaz Kazmi, Deepak Tandon, Manmohan Singh, Deep Mehra, Rajan Babu, Subash Chander, Ashok Gupta, etc.
