RAJOURI, May 20: A meeting of the district unit of Provincial Power Employees Union (PPEU) was held here at Elect M&RE Division-I under the chairmanship of PPEU district president, Mohd Sadiq Chib, wherein the speakers appealed the Government for regularizing all the daily wagers of the department including casual and need based workers.
The speakers alleged that despite working at par with regular employees, casual and need based workers working in the department are without wages for last 15 years. They appealed the State Government to release their wages immediately and make policies for their regularization.
Besides, PPEU president, others spoke on the occasion were Vinod Sharma, Tafail Hussain, Shiv Rattan, Mushtaq Ahmed and Talib.
