POONCH, Nov 20: With the burning of transformer at Mohra Kallar village in Balakote of Mendhar Sub Division Mendhar in district Poonch , the residents are without electricity for the last many days.
People of the area who are facing difficulties these days, said the concerned department has turned deaf ear towards the miseries of the people.
“We have repeatedly brought the matter into the notice of officials, but nothing happened,” they said. Social worker MR Kazafi said that PDD officers have not given proper attention to their problem and they are being forced to agitate and block the road.
They appealed to the Chief Engineer PDD Jammu to issue instructions to the concerned officers at Mendhar for immediate replacement of damaged electric transformer in the area.
