VIJAYPUR, July 12: Executive Engineer EM & RE Division Vijaypur (Samba) has informed that a shutdown on 11 KV Samba-Sub Line has been allowed on July 13 and July 15 from 5 A.M to 11 A.M for carrying out stringing work of 400 KV DC Kishenpur-Samba Transmission line to feed under construction 400/220 KV S/Stn at Jatwal Samba.
Meanwhile, Chief Engineer Elect. Maintt & RE Wing, Jammu has informed that in order to carry out urgent preventive maintenance and removal of weak/hot spots, branch cutting and erection of snapped conductor between location No.104 & 105 of Rajouri-Draba transmission line, the shutdown of 132KV D/C Kalakote-Rajouri and Rajouri-Draba transmission line has been allowed on 14th July, 2012 from 900 hours to 1500 hours.
During the shutdown period the power supply to twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch except the areas being fed from Kalakote Grid station etc will remain affected.
Similarly in order to improve the ground clearance of 33 KV Ramnagar line reduced due to tilting of one number three pole structure at village Malhar, there will be emergency shutdown of 33 KV Ramnagar line on July 13, 2012 from 7 a m to 12 noon.
As informed by the Executive Engineer, Sub-Transmission Division Udhampur, during the shutdown period the areas being fed from 33/11 KV Receiving Stations Sateni, Ramnagar, Chowki and Basantgarh will remain affected.
