MENDHAR, Sept 26: Claim of PDP and Congress of forming next Government in the State more than two years before the elections exposes their power hunger, which has blinded both the parties, said additional general secretary, National Conference, Dr Mustafa Kamal, addressing a public meeting here today.
This claim of both the parties is only a trick to boost the sagging morale of their cadres, which will be of no avail, he added.
He expressed confidence that time is not far when true face of Mufti and his cohorts will stand exposed as the mastermind and architect of the Kashmir tragedy, which was unfolded in 1989-90 and continue to haunt the people even today.
Dr Kamal further hoped that India and Pakistan will work out a mutually beneficial relation along with safeguarding the genuine interests of people of J&K on both sides of LoC.
After the convention, Dr Kamal accompanied by MLC Javaid Rana and others visited Government Hospital, Mendhar and enquired about the injured, who were injured due to brake failure of a bus carrying people to the meeting site. He asked the BMO and police to extend help to the nine injured persons who had been admitted in the hospital, though all of them were out of danger.
