JAMMU, Sept 27: A deputation of J&K Coordination Committee of Power Employees and Workers Union (JKCCPEWU) called on Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Ramesh Kumar here today and submitted a memorandum to him.
Led by senior members of the Union, the team projected the burning issues of the Power employees and sought intervention of the Divisional Commissioner in this regard.
The major demands projected included promotion of executive staff, provision of employees Welfare Fund and keep this fund at the disposal of MD/ Chief Engineer concerned, clear wages of TDL/PDL workers, issuance of final seniority list of TDL/PDL workers, creation of Gazetted post for Draftsman cadre, Insitu promotion and issuance of placement orders of Matriculation/ITI staff.
