Poswal urges PM to exposé mainstream politicians fanning separatism

NEW DELHI, June 24: Ishfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal, national executive member of BJP ST Morcha, today urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh to identify and expose mainstream politicians who have been subtly involved in pushing youths towards separatism and militancy in Jammu and Kashmir.
Referring to blame game between Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and former CM Omar Abdullah in State assembly over creation of militant commander Syed Salah-u-Din, Poswal regretted that most of such mainstream politicians should self introspect themselves before blaming each other on such issues.
“Mainstream politicians have the potential to divert even the qualified and law abiding citizens to militancy for their petty interests. I urge the Home Minister and Prime Minister of India to expose such politicians and ensure they are no more part of mainstream politics in the larger interests of people of the country, who want peace and security,” he added.
Poswal said that he was more concerned about ignored and jobless tribal youths as they can fall prey to such politicians.
