JAMMU, July 23: National executive member, ST Morcha of BJP, Eshfaq ur Rehman Poswal, called on Mahesh Sharma, Union Tourism Minister at New Delhi and demanded promotion of Hindu religious places in Kashmir valley for tourism.
He told the Minister that this will provide employment to ST youth of those areas. He briefed that a lot of youth who are now offering their services during Amarnath yatra will become jobless after Yatra concludes.
Alleging that the centuries old religious places in the Valley have been ignored by successive Govts, Poswal demanded that such places be developed for promoting tourism which will also boost State’s economy.
