Positive patients being provided treatment as per protocol: GMC Principal

JAMMU, Nov 3: Principal Government Medical College, Jammu, Dr Shashi Sudhan today informed that the positive cases in the MCH and Associate Hospitals are being provided treatment as per the protocol.
She said GMC has total 54 patients, of which 13 are in isolation ward, 12 are in CCU, 15 in ward no 3 and 14 in HDU. She said 44 patients have been put on oxygen support of which 16 are on ventilator /bipap, while  Chest Disease Hospital has  7 patients. She further informed that two deaths have been reported in GMC in the last 24 hours.
The Principal GMC informed that a total 637 cylinders were consumed in the last 24 hours including 622 in GMC and 15 in CDH. She also added that GMC has a buffer stock of around 1100 cylinders and CDH   60 oxygen cylinders.
