JAMMU, Apr 2: A team of All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations led by its State President, R.K Kalsotra today visited village Bhagote Chak near Hiranagar.
A handout claimed that the visiting team found that the hamlet of Bhagote Chak is purely inhabited by Scheduled Caste community and there is poor water supply.
“Water supply in the village is very poor and Minister, MPs, MLAs as well PHE official only made hollow promises with the villagers in this regard,” Kalsotra said adding that same remained the fate of Government schemes in this village.
He said that a video clip has been sent to the Governor and District Development Commissioner Kathua for taking necessary action to supply clean and adequate water to Bhagote Chak.
The visiting team included Mohd Shari Bajjad, Sat Pal, Ashwani Kumar and Sita Ram.
