POONCH, Jan 16: One-day blood donation camp was today organized by the District Police Poonch on the directions of SSP Poonch Rajiv Pandey, in collaboration with District Hospital in the premises of the District Hospital, Poonch.
ASP Poonch Anwar ul Haq, DySP( DAR) Mohan Sharma, CMO Poonch, Mumtaz Bhatti and other Health Department officials were present on the occasion.
The ASP appealed the youth to generously donate blood for saving others and said by organising blood donation camp “we contribute our bit in saving somebody’s life.”
The CMO spoke about the importance of blood donation and appreciated the initiatives taken by the SSP Poonch for organising blood donation camp.
“Poonch Police is committed to its social responsibility and more blood donation camps will be organised in the future,” DySP DAR said on the occasion.
During the day-long camp, over 25 volunteers donated blood which would help in saving precious lives.
