KISHTWAR, Dec 11: Security forces arrested a ponywala for providing weapon and ammunition to the recently arrested Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant.
As per police sources, on specific information, security forces conducted searches in the Dachhan area for a ponywala Shahbaz, who provided weapon and ammunition to the recently arrested HM militant Tariq.
During search, the security forces arrested the ponywala from a hideout in Dachhan area of District Kishtwar.
Reportedly, the ponywala Shahbaz had purchased the weapon and later gave it to the recently arrested HM militant Tariq.
Further questioning of the ponywala is going on.
When contacted, SSP Kishtwar Dr Harmeet Singh Mehta confirmed about the arrest of the ponywala Shahbaz and his questioning is going on.
