JAMMU, May 5: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) expressed deep shock over the martyrdom of three more jawans of CRPF in another terrorist attack in Kupwara area of Kashmir and said that these incidents are matter of great concern.
In a statement, PCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma has said that the loss of precious lives of our jawans is a matter of grave concern as eight jawans including two senior army officers and a police Sub Inspector were among the eight persons martyred in past two days.
Perturbed over the unabated killings of Indian soldiers within the heartland of the nation, Harsh Dev Singh, JKNPP chairman and former Minister today lambasted the BJP led Government for its utter failure to curb militancy in J&K which had grown by leaps and bounds after its ascendance to power.
“Leave aside your tall promises of bringing peace and normalcy, you have failed to provide a sense of security even to our brave-hearts within the borders” said Singh. He said while no Government can escape accountability to the Nation, the despotic Modi regime is averse to any kind of criticism of its failures and lapses however damaging they were for the Nation and its interests.
President, Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS), Surinder Singh Gilli and others paid tribute to valiant soldiers and security personnel martyred in last 2 days in Kupwara, Gilli said, “Valour and sacrifice of these security personnel will never be forgotten”. Gilli further termed the terror attack as an “act of cowardice”, when not only India but whole world suffers with incurable virus ‘Corona’. He said bloodshed was no solution to any issue and those hell-bent to disturb the peace should refrain from such activities.
Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) expressed anger on loss of lives of 3 jawans of CRPF in a grenade attack in Kupwara. “The ceasefire violation, unprovoked firing by Pakistan is still going on at LoC in Poonch, Rajouri and Nowshera has caused great damages of the property,” the JWAM president, Sunil Dimple said while staging dharna against Pakistan sponsored terrorism. He appealed LG GC Murmu to announce compensation to kin of martyrs as they lost their lives for the country in J&K.
Expressing deep shock over the martyrdom of our eight security personnel including officers and soldiers in last two days while fighting the militants in Handwara area of the valley, Movement for Justice for Refugees of 1947 (MJR-47) from PoJK strongly condemned the cowardly act of the militants duly sponsored by the Pakistan forces to perpetuate terrorism in Indian territory. “We join the nation in saluting and paying homage to the martyrs for their valour and supreme sacrifice while fighting for their nation,” the MJR-47 said in a statement.
