In any of its manifestations, violent extremism is unacceptable in a civilized society, regardless of political, ideological or religious motivations.”
“The attackers have no respect for human lives and are only adding to the tragedies of the ill-fated families which must be condemned by one and all,” he added, while extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wishing a speedy recovery of the injured cop.

A PDP spokesman while conveying sympathies to bereaved families of slain police personnel said that violence of last three decades or more has taken a heavy toll on the people in terms of death and destruction, tearing apart of the social fabric, inflicting massive economic, academic and other losses besides the irreparable loss of human lives.
Expressing deep anguish and sorrow over the attack and killing of two cops, a spokesman of National Conference said, “Violence in all its forms is despicable and has no scope in the contemporary world, it only leaves behind the account of inevitable loss and prolonged grief”.
While expressing solidarity with the kith and kin of the martyred cops, he said, “The attack has left many injured as well, I also pray for speedy recovery to them. The martyred cops are in our thoughts and prayers. Violence doesn’t provide a solution to any problem, it only leaves behind a trail of destruction and pain”.
