As and when elections are to be held, whether supplementary or general, the various political parties enter into alliances, parties may be local or of national level.
The principles and basic motives of alliance get exposed when these parties part away from each other. It means that the electorate are taken for granted and it is unanimous and mutual consent of various parties regarding seat sharing and number of ministerial berths. If arrived at, to the satisfaction of alliance partners the alliance survives. In order to give the country a stable and vibrant Govt the overall prosperity and welfare of the electorate should be kept in view. Otherwise such alliances generally prove counterproductive and not good for the health of a good governance and stable Government.
