SRINAGAR: A police personnel was killed when militants attacked a police party at Tengpora bypass in Srinagar this afternoon, official sources said here.
They said militants attacked a police party at Tengpora, about five km from here, resulting in injuries to a police Constable Mohammad Saidq. The injured was immediately rushed to a hospital where he succumbed, they added.
This was the second attack by militants in Srinagar today. Earlier, during the day, two police personnel were killed in a similar attack at Alamgiri Bazar in Zadibal area of the down town. (AGENCIES)
