Police traces missing woman, saves life

JAMMU, Mar 24: Police today saved life of a woman who left the house in a fit of anger after quarrel with husband threatening him of committing suicide in this winter capital.
“A man this afternoon approached me with a request to trace his wife, who according to him had left house in a car after a quarrel with him,” Inspector Deepak Jasrotia, Station House Officer, Police Station Nowabad here said.
He added that as per complainant, his wife also threatened him over telephone that she will commit suicide.
Acting swiftly on the request, the SHO flashed the number of the car to the Police Control Room following which, the lady was found in Sidhra bridge by the Police Post In-charge Zaheer Mushtaq along with car.
The woman was later handed over to the family after completing all legal formalities.
