SRINAGAR, May 11: Abdul Jabbar, SP Anantnag, and Imtiaz Ismail Parray, SP Ganderbal called on N. N. Vohra, Governor, here at the Raj Bhavan today.
The Governor, who is the Chairman of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, was briefed by the two Police officers about issues relating to the conduct of the ensuing Shri Amarnathji Yatra. Jitendra K. Singh, Addl. Chief Executive Officer of the Shrine Board was also present during the discussions.
The Governor, who had earlier discussed Yatra management related issues with DGP and IGP (Kashmir), advised the SPs to ensure effective maintenance of law and order during the Yatra alongside facilitation of the pilgrims.
