Police saves life of infant

JAMMU, Aug 12: As a humanitarian gesture, police team saved the life of an infant by getting her timely admitted in the hospital.
As per police sources, an information was received at Police Post Sarwal that an infant (girl) is lying in the drain of a plot in Subash Nagar area.
On getting information, a team from Police Post Sarwal led by SI Manohar Lal under the supervision of SHO Bakshi Nagar Inspector Harjeet Singh and SDPO West Rahul Nagar immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the infant to Shri Maharaja Gulab Singh (SMGS) Hospital, where she was undergoing treatment and her condition was stated to be stable.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
