JAMMU, June 4: Bari Brahmana Police has registered a case in demolishing of a worship place at Bari Brahmana as there was a dispute between two parties on the piece of land on which the worship place was constructed.
The police said that on the basis of a complaint lodged by Sadhu of the worship place a case was registered under FIR Number 116 of 2017 under Section 295 after the investigation was initiated.
The worship place was demolished during the intervening night. The Sadhu in his complaint with police alleged that he was shifted to unknown place after his eyes were tied and the worship place was ransacked.
Police said there was a dispute over the piece of land and one party has constructed a shed on the name of Vaishnavi Dham and kept a Sadhu for worship there. The other party came during the night and demolished the shed.
