RAJOURI, Apr 4: Darhal police today raided a house in Chowkian area and recovered 42 stolen pipes of PHE Department.
Sub-Inspector, Mohd Shareif, SHO police station Darhal received a specific information that some officials of PHE Department with the connivance of some locals of the area had misappropriated the pipes of PHE Department and sold illegally the same to Munshi Khan son of Haji Faiz Mohd, a resident of Chowkian who was running the business of shuttering material.
Acting on the complaint, a police party led by SHO police station Darhal under the supervision of Ifthkar Ahmed, Deputy SP Operations (Incharge, SDPO Thannamandi) raided the house of Munshi Khan and recovered 42 pipes of PHE department from his possession.
In this regard, a case FIR No 40/2015 US 409/109/411 RPC has been registered at police station Darhal and investigation taken up.
