JAMMU, Nov 20: Demanding immediate measures to prevent misuse of online sales platforms by drug peddlers, Chamber of Traders Federation (CTF) led by Neeraj Anand called upon SSP , ANTF, Vinay Sharma and apprised him about concern of the people of Jammu.
Anand expressed concern over alleged sale of “Marijuana” through online Amazon Platform, he added that being a conflict zone, J&K authorities need to be extra vigilant and take appropriate measures to prevent exploitation of youth by forces inimical to peace and prosperity of the region.
A memorandum was also handed over to Vinay Sharma who assured the delegation that online platforms would be scrutinized and no such illegal activity would be allowed.
Some CTF members including Raman Gupta, Ajay Gupta and Parag Abrol were also present on the occasion.
