KATHUA, Oct 27: Kathua Police under the supervision of SSP Kathua has launched a special drive against traffic rule violators to minimize the road accidents.
In a statement issued by Kathua police here today it said during the past one week as many as 457 vehicles have been challaned under various Sections of Motor Vehicle Act in the district. Special attention is being paid to check over speeding/rash driving, over loading and non use of helmets by riders of two wheelers, the statement added.
