Police holds drug de-addiction programmes

SRINAGAR, June 11:  Police held a drug de-addiction awareness programmes at two schools in Srinagar.
A police spokesman said students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Soura and Scholars School Dhara, Harwan.
“A team of professionals comprising of Zahid Jeelani Wani (counseling psychologist) and Haris Abrar Kashmiri (psychiatric Social worker) conducted the awareness programmes in which more than 400 students and staff members participated,” the spokesman said.
He said the awareness programmes are a part of the police’s effort to inform students about the harmful impact of drugs.
