The protesters led by their president Manzoor Ahmad Pampori, assembled at Press Enclave here, demanded regularization of daily wagers and consolidated staff, transparent and time-bound transfer policy and the release of 6th Pay Commission arrears.
The JKULBEUF president Manzoor Ahmad Pampori said: “The Government should implement service rules, rationalize staff, conduct DPC, regularize daily wagers, consolidated employees, 6th Pay Commission and time-bound settlement of pension.”
Police swung into action as the protestors tried to march towards busy Residency Road and detained them. They were lodged in Kothibagh Police Station.
