Police distributes relief material among flood affected victims

JAMMU, Sept 22: Continuing with the mission to provide relief to the flood affected people of Poonch district, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Poonch Shamsheer Hussain organized a relief distribution camp at DPL Poonch.
During the camp, SSP distributed blankets, rice and other eatable items among 110 affected families of District Poonch who have suffered major loss in the recent flash floods.
District Police Poonch also organized langar for the affected families at Gujjar Hostel Poonch besides undertaking other relief and rehabilitation measures for the flood affected persons.
Among others present at the camp included DySP DAR, officers of civil administration and local populace.
Meanwhile, the staff of Police Station Miran Sahib distributed relief materials including blankets, rice, flour, edible oil and other daily use household items to the flood affected people residing in various villages falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Miran Sahib.
During the relief distribution camp, SP headquarters Randheer Singh and SHO Miran Sahib Police Station Inspector Sanjeev Chib were also present.
