SRINAGAR, July 31: Police carried out a drive against Bhung cultivation and destroyed Bhung in Kurhama area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district today.
A Police spokesman said that the drive was carried out on the directions of SSP Ganderbal, Fayaz Ahmad Lone, under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Ganderbal, Aashiq Hussain and assisted by SHO Kheer Bhawani, Inspector Salfi Arshid.
The locals of the area hailed the step carried out by District Police.
