Police, CRPF pay homage to slain jawan

SRINAGAR, Aug 27: Director General of Police, Ashok Prasad along with other higher police and CRPF officials today paid homage to the CRPF jawan, Raju Ram, who was killed in a militant attack in district Shopian on Monday at a wreath laying ceremony in District Police Lines.
A police spokesman said the ceremony was attended by senior officers including ADGP Head quarters, S. P Vaid, IGP Personal, Arun Chowdary, IGP, Kashmir, Abdul Gani Mir, Director SSG, H K Lohia, IG CRPF Nalin Prabhat, IGP Traffic Muneer Khan, IGP CRPF P.K Singh, DIG Central Kashmir SA Mujtaba, DIG South Kashmir Vijay Kumar, DIG CRPF South K M Yadav, DIG Operations CRPF Sudhakar Upadeye, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Farooq Shah,  SSP Srinagar Ashiq Bukhari and others officials.
