Police attaches property in NDPS case

SRINAGAR, Feb 8: Police today attached property worth approximately Rs 50 lakh in Humhama area of Budgam district in connection with an NDPS case.
As per police, the attached property, a double-storey residential house, belongs to an alleged drug peddler Irfan Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Ashraf Dar resident of Humhama.
“The attachment was carried out under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act in FIR No. 44/2020, registered under Sections 8 and 21 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Budgam,” police said.
Officials noted that the action forms part of the ongoing crackdown by Police to curb drug trafficking by targeting the financial assets of those involved in the narcotics trade.
