Police arrests three OGWs in the outskirts of Srinagar

 

SRINAGAR:  Jammu and Kashmir police arrested three Over Ground Workers (OGWs) and recovered arms and ammunition in the outskirts of the summer capital, Srinagar today, official sources said.

They said during a routine checking security forces intercepted a vehicle at Tengpora bypass on Pantha Chowk-Baramulla road.  During the search of the vehicle security forces recovered some and ammunition, including Ak rifle, they said adding three OGWs were taken into custody.

The identity of the arrested OGWs was not disclosed saying it will hamper the investigation. (AGENCIES)
