Srinagar, Dec 10: Police in Awantipora arrested an Over Ground Worker (OGW) linked with Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM).
He has been identified as Irshad Ahmad Reshi resident of Tral. Police said that he was involved in providing logistic support, shelter, transporting of arms and ammunition and explosive materials in Tral and Awantipora areas of Pulwama district.
Police said that incriminating materials including 10 detonators, one wireless set, two wireless Antenna, one IED remote and 5 kilogrammes of cannabis powder has been recovered from his possession.
A case (FIR number 101/2020 under relevant sections of law) has been registered at Police Station Tral and further investigation into the matter is in progress.
