Srinagar, July 17: Police today have arrested three gamblers from Botanical garden here and recovered stake money from them.
A police spokesman said police raided gambling site in Botanical garden and arrested three gamblers identified as Tahir Ahmad Mir, Hilal Ahmad Laway and Asif Ahmad Laway while gambling from the spot. “Stake money of Rs. 7060 was recovered from the gambling site,” he said.
The spokesman said that a case FIR number 33/2017 under section 13 Gambling act was registered against them and investigation was taken up.
