Police apprehends 10 absconders in Pulwama

Srinagar, Feb 8 : Police today apprehended ten accused persons evading arrest for the last eighteen years.
“Special team of Pulwama Police which was constituted to nab the absconders, after strenuous efforts arrested 10 absconders who were evading arrest from last two decades”, a police spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said that the absconders are involved in heinous cases registered against them in Police Station Rajpora and Pulwama.
The arrestees have been identified as Manzoor Ganai son of Abdullah Ganai, Bashir Ganai son of Abdul Ahad, Aziz Bakshi son of Nabir Bakshi, Gulzar Sheikh son of Mohda Sheikh, Mushtaq Ahmad Lone son of Abdullah Lone residents of Drabgam Rajpora and Javied Ahmad Shah, son of Ghulam Mohammad Shah, resident of Bagat Barzullah at present Dangerpora Nowgam, Abdul Hamid Parray son of Ghulam Ahmad Parray resident of Pandit Pora Ballah Tangmarg, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, resident of Jagir Parigam, Abudl Hamid Bhat son of Wali Mohammad Bhat, resident of Tenpuna Pulwama, and Mohammad Afzal Malik son of Abdul Rahim Malik, resident of Ugergund Newa.
“The arrested absconders were produced before Court for further action”, the statement read further.
