Police Academy organized lecture on Cyber Crime

JAMMU, Jan 30: In order to sensitize officer trainees about the growing trends of cyber crime worldwide and how to safeguard one from such crimes, MY Kichloo, SSP Security delivered a lecture to around 600 officer trainees including faculty members in RV Raju Auditorium of S.K Police Academy, Udhampur.
Various advance techniques including internet fraud, identity fraud, theft of card payment data, theft of corporate data, cyber espionage, spoofing, phishing etc. were discussed in detail.
The SSO also pointed out procedural lapses in investigation which ultimately lead to acquittals.
Kichloo also informed the audience about seriousness of the DGP J&K and Director of the Academy to pursue the knowledge related to cyber crime.
He was introduced to the audience by Mohan Lal, SSP, Assistant Director (Outdoor/Indoor).
The lecture was also attended by Suraj Singh, DySP (R&D/Ado.), Tahir Hussain, DySP (Admn.), Ajay Dogra, Sr. PO and Sunil Sharma, Sr. PO, indoor faculty and outdoor faculty.
