PoK resident held with fake currency sent back

POONCH, Feb 24: A PoK visitor who was held with fake Indian currency worth Rs 11,000 in March 2012 on LoC, was repatriated via Chakkan-da- Bagh  after being released by a local court.
Police said one Amjad Hussain Shah, son of Najeeb Hussain Shah, resident of Mang Bajra in PoK had come here to meet his relative Aftab Hussain Shah near Draba  at Mendhar on March 5, 2012. He was held with fake Indian currency worth Rs 11,000 by the security agencies. He was arrested and tried in the court of law. The visitor was released by the court due to lack of sufficient evidence on February 18, 2014. He was today sent back to his home village in PoK.
