PoJK DPs’ Front extends support to BJP candidate in Lok Sabha elections

JAMMU, Apr 5: Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) DPs’ Front will extended its support in favour of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma in the forthcoming Lok Sabha election on April 11 this year.
This was stated by Capt (Retd) Yudhvir Singh Chib, President of the Front while interacting with media persons here today.
“We are extending support to BJP because of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s actions and policies”, he said, adding that Prime Minister is a great leader, statesman and hard worker, who works for the upliftment of the society particularly down trodden persons.
He appealed to all PoJK DPs, ex-servicemen and others people of the Jammu and Kashmir to vote in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by accessing the work done by him in the past 5 years.
“I think PM is a real patriot of the country and we should support and vote in favour of BJP candidate Jugal Kishore Sharma on April 11 this year”, he asserted.
Pertaining to their issues, Singh said that after seven decades, Government of India sanctioned Rs 2000 crore for POJK DP’s, but its process is taking long time as Revenue Department authority has put forth a lot of document to establish the families.
Singh demanded consideration of left out around 1000 families, ID to all DPs, Development Board many be given to PoJK DPs, release of balance amount of compensation as per recommendations of JPC, reservation to wards of PoJK DPs in schools, colleges, technical colleges and employment and 24 Assembly seats of PoJK.
Among others present were JP Sharma, General Secretary, Sakndya Devi, President Women Cell, Retd Inspected Rashpal Singh, Kulbir Singh Chib, Thoru Ram, Retd Inspector Kuldeep Singh, Retd Sub Major Gittan Ram, Hari Singh, Bablu, Choudhary Sukhjinder Singh, Sub Balwan Singh, Capt Behari Singh, Rajinder Singh Chib, Raj Kumar Verma, Pawan Singh Slathia, Gagan Singh Slathia and Hoshnaki Ram.
