JAMMU, June 9: An Awareness camp on Financial and Digital Literacy under the celebration of Financial Literacy Week (FLW) from 05/06/2017 to 09/06/2017 by RBI, was organized at village Baghani Rabta, a remote unbanked backward area under block Mathwar, district Jammu on June 7 under the guidance of S Bikram Singh Raina, DGM-Circle Head, PNB, J&K Circle.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Satish Kumar Sharma Branch Head PNB Aghore, Jammu Branch. About 80 farmers/small shopkeepers/labourers including ladies took part in the camp who were made aware by Kali Dass, Financial Literacy Counsellor, PNB, regarding digital products of the bank. BHIM app (UPI) and *99# (USSD) were explained in detail to the participants.
Satish Kumar Sharma explained in detail the products, Deposit and Advances in general and KCC loan in particular and PNB Kalyani Card scheme for ladies.
