PM’s package to boost development, prosperity: Jugal

JAMMU, Nov 10: Claiming that the recently announced package by PM Narendra Modi will impart new dimension to the development and prosperity in J&K, BJP State president and MP Jugal Kishore Sharma said that similar packages will continue to flow from Central Government after receipt of Utilization Certificates (UCs) by it from the State Government. He further said that Modi has expressed the hope that these funds shall be utilized by the State Government efficiently and effectively.
Addressing the press conference at Party Headquarters here today, Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the PM’s package contains funds for flood relief, reconstruction and flood management, construction and widening of arterial roads and highways, setting up of power projects, projects for  renewable source of energy, health sector, human resource development, Agriculture & food processing, Tourism, Urban development, security and welfare of displaced people, promotion of various local specialties like Pashmina etc.
Jugal said that the people of the State have been blessed with a package of huge amount and Union Government has covered all the sectors and, PM has assured that these projects will not be allowed to suffer for want of further funds.
“PM Narendra Modi has announced that this package does not imply that it’s a full stop but is only prelude to further packages covering new fields and those segments of the society who may not have been adequately kept in focus while earmarking amounts and financing the continuous and sustained all round development of the State shall always remain fulcrum of the NDA Government’s approach towards the J&K State”, Jugal said and added that the BJP is committed to fulfill all of its promises made to the people as it is well aware of the promises made to the border people and other sections of the society and stands committed for the fulfillment of the State.
The BJP chief said that the words are failing opposition parties to express any comment on the PMs package as they have nothing to show for their past rule in the State.
BJP State spokesperson and State press secretary Balbir Ram Rattan was also present in the press conference.
