PM’s birthday celebrated as Seva Diwas across Jammu

JAMMU, Sept 17: Like other parts of the country various functions were held across the Jammu region in connection with celebration of 66th birthday of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi today.
On the occasion of PM’s birthday today, Minister of PHE Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Chaudhary accompanied by Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma distributed ration  among the poor and needy families at village Rakh in border area of Suchetgarh Constituency.
The Minister said PM has announced many schemes for the youth and weaker sections of the society and people should take full advantage of them.
Jugal said Narendra Modi is only Prime Minister who has dedicated himself for the nation building.
Another function was held on the directives of Union Minister in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh at Government Higher Secondary School Naran Jatwal in Hiranagar tehsil of Kathua district. The school has been adopted by Dr Singh as local MP to convert it into a Model School.
A team of BJP and BJYM activists led by Bharat Sharma Seh Samparak Adhikari at Dr Jitendra Singh’s Constituency Office here organised an impressive function in the School and distributed the fruits and stationery items among the students. They resolved to work with zeal and dedication for realizing the vision of Prime Minister by taking all the welfare schemes to the length and breadth of the Kathua-Doda Constituency.
The BJP Mandal president Tarseem Singh, district vice president BJYM, Keshaw Khajuria and district secretary BJYM, N P Sharma attended the function. The School Headmaster Bishamber Dass proposed the vote of thanks.
On the directions of State president BJYM, Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, (BJYM) Jammu & Kashmir today celebrated 66th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “Sewa Diwas”, across all the districts. In this connection an impressive function was organized at State BJYM head office, Trikuta Nagar by the organisation, led by its State vice-presidents, Karan Sharma, Ajay Vaid and Munish Khajuria.
Speaking on the occasion, Karan Sharma congratulated the Yuva Morcha activist and said that, the birthday of  Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrated as “Sewa Diwas” across the country. He further said that Narendra Modi has announced lot of schemes for the youth, which shows that he has a vision for the youth which constitutes about 65 Percent of the population.
On the occasion, Ajay Vaid elaborated about the Mobile Application namely Narendra Modi and said that we can download the mobile application from Play Store or we can give a miss call to 1800 20 91 920 to download the Mobile Application. BJYM activists after downloading the application congratulated   Narendra Modi on his 66th birthday.
Addressing the gathering, Munish Khajuria said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is pro-Youth and he has initiated many schemes and packages to the youth of the State.
State joint office secretary Er.Lalit Raina managed the proceeding on dais.
Similar functions were organized at district levels to congratulate PM Narendra Modi. More than 590 BJYM activist from 13 districts of the State celebrated PM Narendra Modi Birthday.
The MLA RS Pura, Dr Gagan Bhagat celebrated the birthday of Narendra Modi in a different way along with Party workers. They also took a pledge to work for Antyoday so that the people standing last in the last queue should be benefitted with the efforts of the government.
BJP Jammu district president Mahila Morcha, Rekha Mahajan with her team visited Kusht Ashram at Bhagwati Nagar here to celebrate the birthday of Prime Minister with inmates of Ashram. As PM has himself said that the day be celebrated as Sewa Diwas hence Rekha Mahajan along with her team chose to celebrate the day with inmates of the Ashram. She also appealed the civil society to be sympathetic towards the inmates of the Ashram and other such patients as it is the social responsibility of the people.
