JAMMU, Apr 10: Former Minister and senior BJP leader Sat Sharma today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has provided income support to all landholding farmers and their families to supplement their financial needs for procuring various tools related to agricultural and allied activities as well as domestic needs.
He said financial relief is being provided to crores of farmers across the country in three installments for every 4 months under ‘PM Kissan Samman Nidhi’ which would also protect them from undue reliance of moneylenders for meeting such expenses and ensure their continuance in the farming activities.
Sat was speaking during a program organized by BJP at Saini Mohalla in Talab Tillo area during which he interacted with the beneficiaries of “PM Kissan Samman Nidhi”. Pertinent to mention here that under the party’s ongoing ‘Samajik Nyay Pakhwada’, such types of programs are being held across the UT by the BJP.
District president BJP Munish Khajuria, Mandal president Keshav Chopra, District general secretaries Rajesh Gupta, Karan Sharma and Ajay Manhas, Kissan Morha general secretary Rohit Verma and several others also accompanied the former Minister. The program was organized by District president BJP Kissan Morcha Ram Pal Saini.
Speaking on the occasion, Munish Khajuria said that the Central Government through its various schemes has reached out to every needy person and crores of beneficiaries of numerous schemes have shown that the lifestyle of people have improved under the good governance of BJP.
Deepak Kumar, Vinod Wazir, Abhishek Sharma, Lovely Saini, Nitish, Rajesh Saini, Arun Dubey and others were also present on the occasion.
